“The National Dog Trainers Federation aims to provide a channel of communication for all dog trainers, breeders and pet owners resulting in education and mutual support.”
The infrastructure of the National Dog Trainers Federation is divided into 2 categories, Administration and the Board of Consultants.
All enquiries and / or issues are first directed to Administration. The issue is then passed on to the relevant Consultants for analysis and recommendations.
The Board report their findings back to Administration who then take the appropriate course of action.
Administration
The Administrative department of the Federation is a non-decision making entity. It is responsible for ongoing administration, memberships, co-ordination of educational programs and acts as a link between the Board of Consultants, members, the public, animal welfare groups and Government agencies.
Board of Consultants
The Board of Consultants is the decision making entity of the Federation. The Consultants are chosen from NDTF members that have significant experience in the selected fields.
The Board also has other (non-member) specialists in selected areas that advise and consult to the Federation.
