I am employed in the housing building industry and the Professional Dog Trainers Certification Course has provided me with a true understanding and appreciation of canine behaviour.
The knowledge I have gleaned from the course is exciting. I have learned about teaching, training and obedience methods for improving dog behaviour in a vast number of situations. Becoming a qualified professional dog trainer allows me to impart this new found knowledge to willing dog owners, providing dogs with a more acceptable profile within our community.

I loved the course. It was very interesting. I commenced the course thinking that I knew quite a lot about dogs and found that my knowledge was actually minimal.

After training my own dog for five years I decided to pursue the interest I had developed in dog training by enrolling in the NDTF's professional dog trainers certification course. I have participated in many courses both through my trade as well as my sporting interests, however none could stand up to this course for content, information or structure.
There has been much research, as well as many years of practical experience training all breeds of dogs for all sorts of applications, that have gone into developing this course. The added bonus is that the information is delivered by not one, but many of the best dog trainers and animal behaviourists we have in Australia who have vast national and international experience and who are able to deliver their information in a relaxed, friendly, open-minded manner.
I cannot speak highly enough of the course, the people behind the course and the many training centres I am now involved in on a regular basis. I can honestly say that the NDTF and their many associates, have taken professionalism to a new level. I learn something new every time I am in their company which is precisely what they aim to achieve. They keep their members up to date with the constant evolution of dog training as it evolves.

I completed the Professional Dog Trainers Certification Course (PDTCC) in 1999 and have attended a number of courses to enhance my qualifications.
The PDTCC provided me with the tools enabling me to understand and modify the problem behaviour of my aggressive dog. Since completing the course I have enjoyed instructing classes and sharing my knowledge.
The PDTCC is an informative and motivational course that provides seminars and workshops to enhance skills for anyone who works or would like to work with dogs (vet nurses, breeder, groomer, instructor, obedience trialling etc) or to understand your own dogs.
I thought I knew a lot about dogs as I had owned dogs all my life and competed in showing and obedience. Not until I participated in the PDTCC did I realise how much more I had to learn - not only about dogs and their psychology but also about myself.

The Professional Dog Trainers Certification Course has not only provided me an outlet away from my usual occupation, but due to its diversity, it has provided me with the ability and experience to teach both dogs and dog handlers at varying levels of obedience and to deal with and remedy specific problem issues which affect a variety of our canine friends; problems far exceeding those which I may experience by the handling and training of only my own dog.
The superior skills which the course has paved the way for me to acquire, opens up doors to beyond just an outlet to my present career, but affords me the opportunity to change my career to a challenging and rewarding vocation in the world of canines. Having completed the Professional Dog Trainers Certification Course and having successfuly applied my newly gained knowledge in the advanced training of my own canine pal and in the training of others, I look forward to further specialist training courses available.

In January of 2001 I looked at doing the NDTF - PDTC Course. I decided that it would be not only a lot of fun but also an opportunity to learn more about "Mans best friend" and it has turned out to be a real eye opener for me. I thought, like most people who have had dogs in their lives, that I knew all there was about dogs and training them.
The reality was that I knew a lot less than I thought.
I could not recommend the course highly enough for anybody who has a genuine interest in dogs (or animals in general) and would like to increase their knowledge further, or alternatively like me, has an interest in becoming a qualified dog trainer.

My dream is to work with animals, particularly dogs, in Natural Therapies, Physiological and Psychological Problems; doing the trainers course with NDTF was the first step to getting there.
The course covers almost everything you could hope to learn in 7 months with the offer of advanced courses once you have completed. Particular attention is paid to socialisation and behaviour, training principals and problem solving.
I was fortunate enough to meet people in my course who will be lifetime friends and also I am now instructing dog obedience classes - surpassing all my expectations of this course.
Just Do It !!!.
